Wedding Buffet Menu Ideas

The wedding reception is a big aspect in most weddings, from a formal sit down dinner of a gourmet menu to a casual buffet with simple finger foods. Personally, I like the wedding reception buffet option, not only because it's cost effective, but it offers guests a full meal with the benefit of them being able to choose which foods to eat.

It’s become a top wedding trend to plan a buffet wedding reception, since the menu options are so varied. I especially love the idea of making it more of a picnic rather than a gourmet meal. Also, with the interactive nature of buffet party stations, food presentation becomes an amazing experience for guests, and guests tend to mingle while helping themselves to the buffet options, making it a festive celebration for all.

Here's a gallery of wedding buffet menu ideas to help you get inspired. If you like this post, you might also like these Dessert Buffet Ideas. So who's hungry?
