Here are some of the great ways to serve wine to guests and for using wine at your wedding.

1.  Wine Bar - Have an area set up with different types of red and white wine for your guests to sample. Provide each person their own glass to use for sampling wine and put a list of the wines at each table for guests to view. An open bar at a wedding can be expensive, so here are some wines that are great to toast with and easy on the budget - sparkling wine like Prosecco (Italy) or Cava (Spain), red wines like Chianti (Italy) or Alentejo (Portugal) and white wines like Vinho Verde (Portugal) or Grecante (Italy).

2.  Wine With Meal - Serve a glass of wine at dinner and make your guests feel special. You can even have each table named after a different winery, serving both a red and white wine from that particular winery.

3. The Toast - Champagne (or other sparkling wines) are a key part of any wedding toast in a wedding reception. If you plan on toasting to the future, you can use personalized and engraved flutes for the occasion. Most wedding coordinators recommend that you plan on each guest drinking around two glasses of sparkling wine during the toasting portion of the reception.

4.  Signature Drink - Create a special signature drink using your favorite wine mixed with a non-alcoholic drink.

5.  Wine Wedding Favors - Send your guests home with a wine wedding favor to celebrate your big day. This might include a personalized wine bottle, wine goblet place card holders and heart shaped wine bottle stoppers. You can even put a label on the wine that has a picture of the couple or the bride and groom's names and wedding date.
