Hello Louisville Wedding Blog readers! Happy 4th
of July everyone! I can think of more stunning color combination than that
which is in the American flag - Red, White and Blue. To commemorate this momentous
occasion, we wanted to inspire you with just a few of the things that we found
in our search for anything Americana and all things patriotic.
Classic American comfort food is loved by all and fits the Americana
theme to a tee. Mini burgers, a french fry bar (regular, spicy waffle
fries, sweet potato fries, garlic fries, etc.), mac and cheese, fried
chicken, peas, green beans, collard greens, cobb salad, and mini grilled
cheese sandwiches with tomato bisque.
As for drinks, three words: Coca-Cola Classic. The most iconic and beloved beverage in
the world can serve as the official non-alcoholic signature drink. You can also incorporate fruity iced teas with berries served from large punch bowls, and alcoholic berry infusions in pretty infusion jars. For favors, you can chose a true southern favorite: red velvet cupcakes in a
jar.
If your celebration runs into the evening or night, by now you know you have to have sparklers! Sparklers are a must on a 4th of July Wedding. You could also plan a little firework show.
Happy 4th of July Everyone! Have a great day!
The ideas and imagery in the post are amazing, thanks very much.
