{DIY Wedding Project} Mint Honey Wedding Favors

According to legend, Cupid dipped his arrow in honey before taking aim at unsuspecting lovers.

Just like love, the delicious taste of honey gives not just a sweet taste to our tongue but makes us crave for more as well. So, when it comes to weddings, jars of honey are among the most popular choices for edible wedding favors. I came across this mint-infused honey favors project just recently and I do agree that they are a perfect way to say thank you in the warmer spring and summer months.

When presenting honey as your wedding favors, you can place each one the plates of the guests or anywhere on the table setting. You can also include an appetizer to your reception menu that uses honey as the main ingredient. This way, you can share a new idea to your guests on how to use honey, which is really nice and can be used at home.

When looking for the perfect honey for your wedding favors, choose a variety that is U.S Grade A. Actually, there is a local Louisville honey company. They offer local honey wedding favors that already come with personalized labels so you don't need to print your own if you will order from.

Bottles of honey can make unique favors especially when made personalized and presented creatively. You can have it bottled in small personalized jars (or in tubes like the one above) with labels printed with both of your names, wedding date, and a short message, love quotes or poems. There are many nice sayings that can printed to the labels of your honey favors - like for this one, I think 'Meant to Bee' would be fitting.

Have a Sweet Day everyone!
