Just a bit of Wisdom – Non-Traditonal venues vs Traditional Venues

I have to admit, I’d prefer a non-traditional wedding venue for my wedding: museums, parks, gardens, farm houses, and historic homes. I just love the idea of taking an unexpected place and turning it into a beautiful space to hold a wedding. However, as I had event planning classes in my postgraduate course and having worked in a hotel, I realize the logistical convenience of holding your wedding celebration at a hotel, country club, or catering hall. When you hold an event in a five-star hotel, almost all the resources are available to you: fully-stocked kitchen, tons of wait staff, top-notch audio visual equipment, an events manager and more. Have a slight mishap with the cake icing—have the in-house pastry chef come by and do a little touch-up work. DJ missing in action—utilize the hotel’s in-house sound system to pipe out some music until the DJ arrives. And in Louisville, there is are superb hotels and country clubs to hold you next celebration. And many of them are not as traditional as you may think. So brides, check out these amazing venues:
