Wedding Picks of the Week

Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life,
love brings you a fairytale.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! I know it's pretty late to ask you how the spooky weekend went. But better late then never. I was lucky enough to have some time to post again today! 11/11/11. Sounds like an auspicious day right? On a side note, with Thanksgiving approaching quickly, we know that we have so much to be thankful for. Today is Veteran's Day, a day when we pay tribute to those people who have risked their lives to protect this country. Thank you to those who continue to protect us and thank you to those who have protected us in the past.

Happy Long Weekend Everyone!

FALL-in-love wedding ideas...

For a fall wedding, you can have your flower girls carry pumpkins down the aisle.

Autumn gold + foliage as your wedding decor's colors.

Fall harvest seasons colors: shades of peach, apricot and pink, with a bit of fresh green and darker rust colo.

Traditional fall baroque romance inspiration

Great wedding photographs of an autumn wedding in the English countryside

A modern and inviting fall harvest party.

Mini-bite food ideas for your wedding: mini-meatballs, mini-pigs in mini-blankets, baby caramel apples and more.

It's a gorgeous Twilight-inspired wedding photo shoot.

Stunning 15 non-floral centerpieces that are so gorgeous you won't miss flowers!

As place cards (not as wedding centerpieces), this couple's garden wedding reception had stacks of vintage books with guest's names tucked into them! Such a sweet idea!

So romantic and fanciful this enchanted forest themed wedding.
Great gifts for your winter bridesmaids.

Remember the Royal wedding when they brought trees inside as decor. Here's something for everyone who wants to be inspired with trees for their wedding.

Stunning rustic e-session at Louisville

Real LOUISVILLE Weddings

Gorgeous white tux jackets and stunning bride's gown for a classic wedding at The Olmsted.

Sophisticated autumn wedding at the Historic Seelbach Hotel.

Vibrant florals of this Friday afternoon wedding at the beautiful Gardencourt estate absolutely captured my attention. See the couple's video here.

Handmade fall wedding at the Mellwood Arts Center. This Louisville wedding has some great fall wedding decor!

One photograph that ought to be on a Louisville couple's list is with the Louisville Slugger Bat.

Another great downtown Louisville wedding! The Cathedral of the Assumption does already look stunning even without the wedding decorations.

In true Louisville fashion, this wonderful wedding celebration started with a rehearsal dinner at Churchill Downs, wedding preparations at the Galt House, wedding ceremony aboard the Belle of Louisville, continued celebration down to 4th Street, and the next morning with the picturesque RIVUE.

Love, love, love the pre-ceremony photos of this wedding. It was taken at Starlight Country Cabin in Indiana. I love the bridesmaid dresses here too!

VIDEO of the week

I love watching videos about proposals! Here's a cute one I saw at Green Wedding Shoes. Now, this is a long-distance proposal! Shows that love can work even with the distance. FIY, the guy, a musician, wrote the song playing in the video for his fiancee. So romantic....
