One of my favorite things I like about fall is the great weather: Cool nights and Sunny Days. Anyways, here’s a great fall inspiration I came across over at Confession of a Plate Addict. It’s a fall candle that was actually inspired by a Pottery Barn catalog. It’s a really great idea for a d├ęcor on fall wedding, and you can actually also do this for the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner feast. Looks great beside a turkey. =) It’s really easy and simple to do.

Supplies and Materials Needed
  • Cylindrical candle holder (and candle of course)
  • Miniature corn
  • Rubber Bands
  • Ball of Jute Twine

  1. Place a rubber band around the cylinder.
  2. Start adding the corn around the cylinder. Turn the husks up toward the ears of the corn as you place it around the candle holder.
  3. Once your corn are decoratively placed, tie the ears to the cylinder with the twine by winding tightly around several times (to help hide the rubber band).
  4. You can trim some of the husks to give it a more even appearance and to make sure none of the husks are too close to the candle.
